The profile can achieve fire ratings of up to 120 minutes, ensuring compliance with building regulations and enhancing safety for occupants.
Acoustic Performance:
The profile offers excellent noise insulation, ideal for residential and office environments. Additional acoustic treatments can further improve sound absorption and transmission reduction.
Logistics and Installation
Efficiency: Each arctic load can deliver approximately 800–900 m² of decking, optimising transport efficiency and minimising on-site storage needs. The lightweight panels simplify handling and speed up installation.
The virtually flat soffit simplifies suspended ceiling installation and gives maximum flexibility for service routing above the ceiling void. The 150mm trough spacing provides good options for shear stud placement, and the re-entrant geometry creates a strong mechanical key into the concrete that performs well in composite beam design.

R51 supports a range of concrete depths, typically from 100 mm to 200 mm, making it adaptable to various project specifications and load requirements.
